Have been using Paint.net to compress some dds files as it appears the most efficient method so far, unfortunately I have hit a snag with some files, they open fine in GIMP and I can export them compressed via that I can then open them in paint but it is not efficient as just using paint.net straight away help. Attached is the error message I am getting.
Edit: I worked out how to do this, unclear why it worked but all i did was change the file extension to bmp it then opened in paint.net easy.
Just use a program called Bulk Rename Utility to do this on all files in the folder. Paint.netError.txt
