I have seen a few topic saying not much can be done, my case might not be any different, however, when viewed in windows' explorer, the preview can actually be seen. With all the layers.
The image is a tileset that was about to be used, and in the preview, the upper part seems to be intact, and then the bottom is visually corrupted.
Nothing in the corrupted part was necessary. It's a file from 2018, that i managed to recover from my old dead laptop recently.
I planned in zooming more in explorer, but that is the maximum.
EDIT: I used a PDN to PNG converter. It works good! Sure now the layers are all merged, but that's an easy fix!
