    I ran sfc /scannow and scanned my disk from its properties, restarted my computer, and paint.net is launching again! Thanks for all your help!

    Hi, thank you I found the PdrRepair.exe and tried running it. Every time I did so, it brought up the following error in CMD for a half second, and then closed: Unhandled Exception: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. at PdnRepair.Program.Main(String[] args)

    Hi, I've been using paint.net for years without a problem, and 2 days ago I started receiving an error when I tried to launch the program. The error is as follows: When I tried to uninstall the program, I receive the following error: My .NET framework is updated to the latest version (v4.8), and I am not sure where to go from here.
