  1. On Firefox and Chrome, a vast majority of text is shown using subpixel rendering, which is a method of anti-aliasing that supposedly increases the apparent resolution of the screen that the text is being shown on. I have included an example in this post (image courtesy of Wikipedia). I feel like subpixel rendering could come in handy when putting text in an image.
