  1. Guys this has been a fantastic plugin, however I upgraded my windows to the latest version and scriptlab is not working anymore.

I try to run a saved script but all that happens is a loading bar runs at the bottom of the screen. You can see this at the bottom right of image 1.

When I hit cancel image two pops up. The third image is the error details. The forth image is my update history. Please help me.

  2. Ok Here is what I want to do I should have posted this before.

The image shows all the areas with letters in so you can see the shapes that are the same. Take A for instance, if I wanted to select all the A shaped areas one would use the magic wand tool and select all the spaces marked A holding the ctrl key down as one does so. On could then fill all the shapes with a colour and then one would be able to select all the A spaces by colour with the magic wand.

What I was asking was could I select all the A areas by there shape without colouring the spaces or selecting the areas one at a time.

Thanks again for all you responses.

  3. Hey guys,

is there any way of select areas by shape. I know you can use the magic wand and select the same colour in an image but I want to select the same shape from an image.

An example would be triangles, circles, rectangles, squares, diamonds and the likes.

    All the best,

    Frank

  4. Is it possible or is there a plugin that carries out repetitive tasks for you?

Take for example I have an image/png I want the black removed then the red removed, then I want to feather the image twice at 10, jitter the image to say 10,10,10,10, 45. Then feather by 5.

I have to repeat this on various numbers pngs. It would be nice to do it with one or two clicks.

This may be totally impossible but I have to ask.

  5. I created an image and saved it as a png I also saved it as an 8bit bmp. When I try to load it I get the following message. I is a large file 900 mb.

    Any ideas?

  6. Pixey,

the alignment issue is caused by elevations. The map may have up to 15 height levels. Now the image that has the missing segments is as it is when I generate the map with all the elevations the gaps represent when the river goes behind a hill and cannot be seen.

I want all sections of the river showing. I can do this by generating the river map with only 1 elevation then it all comes out visible and flat. The problem with doing that is there is a big discrepancy between the river on elevation/level 1 and the one on elevation/level 15. This is when I have to move around and place the sections where I want. That is very time consuming. What I am after is to have the original river image which is in the correct position to have the segments which are missing added.

I want to be able to do this as quickly as possible with as least amount of clicks as possible. Something along the lines of drop shadow which only takes seconds to do a whole map.

    Thanks for the replies.

    They are very informative.

  7. TileWorld looks like it has potential for what I need. Now if I could number the squares and have the plug-in place the contents of a the square into the image that would be it. What I am saying is / = 1      \ = 2    -- = 3   | = 4  The symbols would be the river sections and the number would represent that shape. Then I could load 134213421342141 now this would work up to 9 then use an abcdefg  for numbers 10 and upwards.

What are the chances of that happening?

    Thanks guys.

  8. Not sure I get what you mean any chance of a video capture of what you are doing?

Sorry to be such a pain. At the moment I am moving and stretching the blue rivers into the position of the red rivers. Takes about 2 to 3 hours per image.

Really appreciate you taking the time to reply.

  9. Hi,

The original is generated by a map editor but the rivers disappear when they go behind hills.

I have flattened the terrain in the map editor so the rivers join up but they are out of the original position  and I have to be manually position them.

    I use layers.

I want the rivers to follow the hex lines if possible.

Below is an example of a map I am working on.

    Thanks for the reply.
