[I need help with book covers]

I am a total newbie when it comes to working with imaging. I made some book covers using Paint.net but, for the life of me, I can remember how I did it.

I've tried too work through the tutorials but can't get the sound to work so I have no idea what's going on.

Where can I go to get a step-by-step explanation of how to use the program.

I know this sounds stupid but I can't figure out how to add text to an image.

I've done it before many times but have gone brain dead.

 

I have 4 layers to the image and left a blank space above the colage. This is where I want to add the text.

You can open PS files with the PS plugin. To change the text you're going to have to delete the existing text and replace it.

I have two jpeg files and I want to change Father Serra's to Saint Junipero Serra's.

 

 

[Inserted Images]

I will open a new document and add a background color. I will then copy and paste an image. However, I find myself stuck with the edge of the image moving and can't figure out how to get it to stop. Any ideas?

[Changing Text Color]

I'm certain this has already been asked but, as I'm totally new to this program and have never been very good at learning new stuff - how do I select the font color?

 

Father Serra's Legacy - Book One

 

This is what I want to put in. I can select the location and the font type/size but can't for the life of me figure out how to change it from black to another color.
