I am a total newbie when it comes to working with imaging. I made some book covers using Paint.net but, for the life of me, I can remember how I did it. I've tried too work through the tutorials but can't get the sound to work so I have no idea what's going on. Where can I go to get a step-by-step explanation of how to use the program. I know this sounds stupid but I can't figure out how to add text to an image. I've done it before many times but have gone brain dead. I have 4 layers to the image and left a blank space above the colage. This is where I want to add the text.

Please explain how to do that. I have two jpeg files and I want to change Father Serra's to Saint Junipero Serra's.

I will open a new document and add a background color. I will then copy and paste an image. However, I find myself stuck with the edge of the image moving and can't figure out how to get it to stop. Any ideas?

I'm certain this has already been asked but, as I'm totally new to this program and have never been very good at learning new stuff - how do I select the font color? Father Serra's Legacy - Book One This is what I want to put in. I can select the location and the font type/size but can't for the life of me figure out how to change it from black to another color. Help appreciated.
