The file is identified as a JPEG but is a .pdn file What can I do?

I had finished 90% of a drawing but I needed a break so I saved it, I went to open it and this error keeps coming up: "System.FormatException: file is not a valid paint.net document at PaintDotNet.Document.FromStream(Stream stream) in d:\src\pdn\paintdotnet\src\Data\Document.cs:line 1328 at PaintDotNet.Data.PdnFileType.OnLoad(Stream input) in d:\src\pdn\paintdotnet\src\PaintDotNet\Data\PdnFileType.cs:line 30 at PaintDotNet.FileType.Load(Stream input) in d:\src\pdn\paintdotnet\src\Data\FileType.cs:line 476 at PaintDotNet.Functional.Func.Eval[T1,TRet](Func`2 f, T1 arg1) in d:\src\pdn\paintdotnet\src\Base\Functional\Func.cs:line 158" What can I do? I hope my drawing isn't gone for good it took hours:(

Keys came up, I deleted them - Instead of the first problem I now just get "Fatal error during installation."

If you click the settings at the bottom right of the player you can turn the video quality up, but I'll try again

Going to type this as I go along: Unblocked it, Paint.NET is not listed there when I ran REGEDIT so I'll attempt to install Also, the laptop is not connected to the network anymore it used to be but I'll try removing that too Same problem I'll try the other REGEDIT thing Currently searching for \Paint.NET\Staging\ nothing came up somehow? anti virus is disabled whats going onnnnn

I've tried that too, I read on another post to try installing it somewhere else if it wont install in program files, but I'll give it another try

I am using that installer however it still says Im trying to install that older version

(my located area) "is not a valid installation package for the product Paint.NET v3.5.4 Try to find the installation package 'PaintDotNext.x86.msi' in a folder from which you can install Paint.net v3.5.4"

"paint.net the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" It then tells me to locate a folder where an MSI can be found, I found the MSI then installed it there, same problem. I've tried deleting all files trying again, installing an older version, using custom install to install it somewhere else Nothing is working:(
