[Paint.net prevents Window to close session/restart/shutdown]

You have my curiosity up on this one. Can you explain this further?

For sure:

• on my home Windows : 8.1
• on my work's Windows : 7
• If I want to close my session or stop Windows
• if Paint.net is running (with or without an image openned, saved ot not,...)
• Windows yeld that Paint.net prevent it to close the session/stop Windows and asks to go back or to "force a Paint.net process kill"

... as if there is no document open.

 

I know, it's easy to

• go back
• close it
• redo the session out/restart/shutdown

but, it's annoying !!!
