For sure: on my home Windows : 8.1 on my work's Windows : 7 If I want to close my session or stop Windows if Paint.net is running (with or without an image openned, saved ot not,...) Windows yeld that Paint.net prevent it to close the session/stop Windows and asks to go back or to "force a Paint.net process kill" Regards, Arfy

... as if there is no document open. I know, it's easy to go back close it redo the session out/restart/shutdown but, it's annoying !!!
