  1. Hi, I'm using layers, lots of them and I'm loving using them. My problem is bottom layer translucency. I'm creating soccer posters. The bottom layer is a picture of the grass with a soccer net. I want it to be translucent. I've selected the layer and made the opacity 75. It looks great in the Paint.Net document, but when I save it as .TIF or .PNG file the translucency is gone. Any insight into this problem would greatly be appreciated. Thanks, Jacci
  2. I'm creating a large poster. it consists of about 20 layers. Not doing anything fancy, just adding a new photo to each layer or some text. I want the bottom layer (background) to be 30% opaque. I know how to choose the layer and move the slider. My poster looks great as a .pdn file. However when I do a Save As .TIF, .PNG it reverts back to a solid photo of a soccer field instead of being more translucent. What am I doing wrong? Does this have something to do with blending mode? I'm on a deadline and I need help ASAP. This is causing me a huge delay. Thanks, Jacci
  3. I tried the Layers -> Rotate/Zoom. It worked great. Thanks so much! Jaccia
  4. What OS and Paint.net version are you using? Thanks. No I haven't tried this I will give it a try and let you know.
  5. Hi, I created some posters last year and I need to make them again this year. For some reason I'm not able to increase the font size past 1000. I wrote down the instructions last year. The only thing I can't remember is how I increased the font to 2000. I can get the font size to 1000, but as soon as I increase it nothing shows up on the screen except the blinking cursor. I'm using Paint.net 3.5.10 build 3.510.4297.28964 on windows 7. I have the image resolution set to 300. I have also tried this same thing using the latest version of Paint.net on windows 8. I get the same behavior but I can't increase the font size past 900. The file I created is too large to attach. Thank you for your help with this. Jaccia
