The edges of the logo....? Look at the 'N' in 'New York Times'. The real logo looks like this: http://www.nytimes.com/ ? I'm a noob at Paint.net and image manipulation. I can make the logo white on a dark background easily, but the edges are not smooth. It's like I want to paint a white shape, the shape of the logo, on to a dark canvas. Cheers.

But what about the edges? The won't be smooth against the dark background, will they?

In the footer here: http://www.change.org/en-GB The logos (see 'In the press') are white (well, light grey). How can I achieve this effect, given the original colour logos? Many thanks!
