I need to prepare a very simple poster (one color for back ground and one for the font, no further editing at all) but it has to be around 50x50inch size which is big. I have never worked with such a large images before hence my question. When I click 'new' and then set print size to 50x50 and 150ppi resolution the file size is around 250mb. Does it really have to be this big? It seems like my laptop cant handle files this big. Is there some way around it? Vectors? Inscape? My laptop is Hp Pavilion g6 Core i3 Please help ;-(

Hey, I have tried all the available tutorials for glossy, shiny and glowing texts but none of them seem to be working. I am a noob on this matter and this might also be a big factor... Anyways what I need is a text looking exactly or very similar to the one visible on the attached picture. Could You guys help me on this one? I bet it's quite easy I just lack the experience to obtain the right effect. Thanks! UPDATE Nevermind just figured it out by myself Admins please delete this topic UPDATE Now it doesnt work anymore... 1 What I did was open a picture on which I want to place a text 2 copy layer 3 place text 4copy layer 5 click on the previous layer 6 add gausian blur But now blur applies to the whole picture instead of just text and it is not visible through layers Did I change something in the options maybe? Please help...
