maina
Hello, I read what was written about gradient and transparency but it didn't solve my problem... when I save a backgroung (just a background) with a gradient white and transparent and then save it to gif or png, the image saved has a part white and another transparent without gradient anymore, regardless the settings I chose. The gradient disapears... Is there something I didn't understand? thanks for answering !
maina
Ok... I had not try all the settings : I found the solution => save the picture in 32bits instead of 16.
Rider01
A few other notes: GIF images don't support full alpha channel transparency. In a GIF file, a pixel is either completely transparent or completely opaque. Don't use that format if you want an actual transparent gradient. Feel free to leave the color depth on auto. It will determine the best value to save the image with.
