That means that text is not stored as characters, rather as pixels like any other part of your image (therefore not re-editable).     Well, thanks for the help, you two, but it's looking like I just chose the wrong program for what I'm trying to do. The canvas size does give me some white space to the side of the image, but it's a much clunkier way of doing that same thing than with MS Paint. And the editable text addon is nice, in that I could go back and change it, but otherwise, it doesn't really seem to do what I'm looking for. I'm always fighting with mismatches in the size of the text versus the white space. I would actually be perfectly happy with MS Paint, for what I'm doing, if only the zoom function worked properly. 25%, 50%, and 100% are simply not good enough for my purposes, hence my looking elsewhere.
