OK, looks like you may have hard drive corruption. Please run chkdsk as soon as possible.

You need to install the latest version of Paint.NET, which at this time is 3.5.8.

There should be a file on your desktop called pdncrash.log. Please post its contents here so we can see exactly what is going wrong.
