when i right click the gif image i can't rename the file type,,tks
sounds like a preset in win vista/win7 go to computer (or any folder such as music or pictures) hit alt, (a new bar should appear up top with file, edit, view, tools, help) go to tools, then folder options, then view from there, you got a list box with things checked in it, find "Hide extensions for known file types" and uncheck that box and hit apply. hope this helps.
