[Checkboard Background]

The checkerboard indicates transparency.

If it is too distracting, position a new layer as

bottom layer and Paintbucket fill it with white.

Okay so I did that and I still come up with the same effect. I edit my picture and go to add the vignette effect and the edges are black like they should be but the checkerboard pattern comes over where the picture should be. I am confused, but very new to this. THanks so much for your help.

Please help! I am wanting to do some vignette effects and things but can't get the checkerboard background to go away. Please help, I am trying to finish editing some pictures for a client.
