  1. This may not be a Paint.Net Problem, . .

    I am checking elsewhere, . .

    Problem Reworded

I noticed that when saving .PNG images in paint and transferring them to

IFV, I'm getting these blocks ?/?

    http://i51.tinypic.com/24nqkwp.png

The images after saved look good and can not see blocks but they pop out

    when loaded into IFV.

Prior to this I was having some color distortions in Paint such as it would not paste the correct colors into images that had the file type changed a time or two.

Your assistance will be much appreciated.

  2. Recently returned from the Printer, . .

He told me that my canvas size was not the appropriate size for the painting, . . .

the painting is in the middle and is around 1/15 the size of the Canvas,

When configuring the size of the painting I thought that since the painting is to go on the Canvas than the Canvas size should be the same, in this case, 20" x 15", . . what do I need to do to reduce the size of the canvas to a workable size ?

I am now just going to Canvas size and put in different appropriate size and see if that will work, I am assuming that this will not effect the quality or resolution ?

  3. I thought I saved the work at

300 pixels, when I reopened the saved copy it

opened at 96 pixels, it also seems that if I change it

to 300 the un found saved version and the work done to it does not

prove to be what the reults of changing the pixels to 300 are ?

Is the saved version and its resolution specifications suppose to open or not ?

  4. I recently installed Paint.net 3.3 x 3.5,

I'm just trying to figure it all out.

Amongst other things, I can not get out of the paste- surrounded by the selection box or lines mode, . .

When I paste onto the canvas, How do I click out of the

selection mode ? And how do I get back into it for example if I want to move an image ?

Also, please tell me which is better for resolution if I am going to send an image to the printer.

The image needs to be 300 pixels at 100%

I found the Canvas Size under image, and would like to know what the best way to get the highest quality image that will expand for printing to a canvas size of apx. 22" x 24" ?

I am pasting from a MS Paint or I could open the digital photo with Paint.net, but am presently using MS paint because I need to trim the image first, I'm sure I can do this when opening with Paint.net , once I learn to use the tools.

I need to keep within the printers guide lines, and want to know can I do the work in MSPaint the complete it and paste it into the Paint.net program and save it as PNG. after I use the canvas size from image ?

  5. Recently I have decided to take a painting I have done and transpose it for commercial reproductions, . .

I worked on it using my PC paint MS Paint V 5.1 Program and copied the work onto a CD when I took it to the commercial printer, he was unable to reproduce it because of the resolution, as I want to make a print that will be 18" x 24", he told me that the resolution needs to be around 300 ppsi, . . . It seems that MS Paint is 64 dots per inch.

I'm not sure if that is 64 x 64 or what but apparently it can not be adjusted to my needs, . .

Would you please tell me will this Paint.net application provide me with what I need?
