Try 7-Zip, I am not sure if it allows for recompressing a .BIN file, but that would be my first bet.
is it freeware/shareware?
i'm kind of broke at the moment...

i already knew that .bin files were similar to .iso(disk images).
worms Armageddon and Super Smash Bros Brawl use .bin images, which are compressed .jpg
the problem is every program i try to use to decompress it reduce the quality a lot.
i am trying to make a mod for worms, as a project.
and i am a big fan of the SSB series.
when i try to open the .bin files in image mounting software(powerISO/magic ISO/daemon tools), it says it is not a valid image file.
the only program i have found that works to decompress them is Bin2Jpg, but it lacks options, and degrades the quality by a lot.
if there is a nobody else who needs the plugin, i will make it myself, so can someone tell me how i would go about this, or redirect me to a tutorial or something?
im guessing i gotta learn C# in order to do it.
which is fine, i'm going to be learning it soon anyways.
edit:
i might be an idiot, i think WinRAR might work for it.
now i just have to wait until i get paid...
EDIT:
winrar's trial doesn't allow me to decompress it.

i tried searching for it, but it doesnt seem to be here...
there are programs out there that convert it to .jpg(bin2jpg), but they always reduce the quality a lot.
also i kinda need to be able to save images into .bin format.
umm... if it exists, can someone give me a link, if it doesnt already exist on here, could someone either:
tell me how i would go about making one
make one for me?
help would be appreciated.
if a .bin image file is needed, i can post one here.
please excuse the grammatical errors.
