I was going to give this tut a go but the second step talks about Erode/Dilate
Now I've searched high and low looking for info regarding this Erode/Dilate step and couldn't find anything.
I've also checked all of the plugins new & old and come up empty :?:
So my question is where would I find this Erode/Dilate or does it no longer exist or has it been replace by something?
Thanks as I sure would like to explore this tut

To bad we can't just post a small image right from our computer to a forum page- Oh well here are a couple abstracts I did up with PDN. They are Apophysis fractals maniped with PDN only, turned out kinda neat
Click on the image to make it larger.

[How to find out what you have: (thanks BoltBait)
"Find your "My Computer" icon (either on your desktop or in your start menu), right-click on it and choose "Properties" from the menu. The "General" tab has the information you seek."]
Sorry but this does not tell me anything - It's just a General tab of very basic info and says nothing about what service pack is installed.
Now I do know that SP2 is in there as I remember the update so I'm going to click on the SP2 and vote. If SP3 has a price tag then it won't come my any time soon - being unemployed has a lot to do with that

I’m trying to do this tut with PDN version 3.36
After I do the step where I have 3 image layers left I try to do step
13
Now copy the bottom layer and make it and image by it self. Do the same thing with the other two layers. [Click Control + A to select the whole layer. Then click Control + C to copy the whole layer. Then click Control + Alt + V to make a new image out of the copied layer
Now by copy I’m assuming you mean duplicate because there is no way to “copy” a layer other than dup it. So I did dup the three layers and renamed each. Then after doing the Control+A to select the layer it ends up selecting ALL 3 layers and I can’t select one layer at a time – so after the Control +C - I hit Control+Alt+V and end up with one image – so apparently, with this version of Paint.Net, this step is useless and the gif rain tut ends unless the veteran PDN users know what’s up and can steer me in the right direction
Thanks!!

The arrow is actually the Move Selected Pixels tool, so just hit the button at the top of the toolbar. :-)
By the way, no cussing, not even in "censored" form. Thanks.
Much appreciated - Thanks

Ok – yes I’m new at using PDN and I’ve managed to muddle through a few tutorials.
But this bugs the out of me - that you cant get the arrow back after selecting a tool.
Ya seem to be stuck with the tool no mater what unless you select another.
So that’s my question: :?
How to get back the arrow after selecting a tool? (or can you)
Thanks for the help
And AWESOME program BTW!!!

I have tried downloading the ABR viewer zip and it won't open/expand the zip. Also the zip box is blue not red as are most others - so is there another way of obtaining this ABR viewer software to convert the brushes
Thanks!!
