David, did that already and the only program listed is Adobe. It seems it was downloaded as an Adobe file. I did replace XP with office 2003 and more recently office 2007 and my laptop came with Vista preinstalled. Any suggestions on what I could do please?

When I click on the downloaded file paint.net 3.36Adobe reader is trying to unzip the file. The file has an adobe icon in front of it. I have downloaded the file twice now and the same result each time when I try to open it.

When I go to open the downloaded zipped file Adobe says it could not open paint.net.3.3zip because it is either not a supported file type or the file has been damaged. I am running Vista. Any reason please?

Thanks problem fixed somehow I had lost my zip program which probably occured when I upraded to Office 2007.
Now to enjoy your software.
