I read in another thread that the update feature does a full uninstall and reinstall of the program. I really like this idea and want to implement the same concept in a program that I currently maintain.
How exactly did you accomplish this? Once the update has detected and downloaded the fresh installer, does Paint.Net close itself down and launch a different executable that is responsible for calling the uninstaller then closes itself down and launches the new installer? I'm trying to figure this out.
