  1. Hi,

I wanted to edit some pictures in PDN.

I'm having awful bother with Hugin doing mosaic - it seems perfect for long panos which I can tidy up and crop and create amazing things with using Paint.Net.

But when it comes to making massive multi images, straight lines do not align.

I did a test pic of 21 phots in the room. It did join them perfectly in the sense that it got the order spot on, but zooming in on close inspecton the lines of doors were disjointed.

I begin to think it is easier to make a massive Paint.net canvass and just stick them together myself?

    Thanks

  2. Hi,

Just wondering if anyone's seen portrait professional.saw it advertised in practical photgraphy.

It looks great but i wonder is there a benifit for me to buy it or does PaintNet and others like gimp do the same?

I've got some great effects smoothing skin and enhancing images just with PNet, but I don't see that it does much more than blur or soften regions or doge and burn - perhaps i'm wrong?

Just curious - Portrait pro is a great prog, but I wanst sure how it compared to Pnet?

  3. Yeah, that's what I probably did - just dumped everything into the Effects folder LOL!!!

It turns out that it's a file format called RAF that the file is saved as.

I really love PaintNet (recommended it to all my friends, who now use it), and hoped i could do the imaging editing in Paintnet via some sort of plugin.

I'll have a look later at getting the files transfered and hopefully the plugin may allow the RAF files into paintnet.

    Thanks

  4. Hi there,

Just wanted to ask if anyone has a fuji camera plugin for PaintNet?

    It uses *.rfa prefix.

I downloaded a RAW converter from the download plugin forum page thing, but it doesn't do a thing (actually doesn't seem to exist - but PainNet doesn't recoginse my RFA files anyway).

I guess using RAW is not all that important as I have heard many times to stick with 9MP Fine ( being a brilliant photographer (blushes) I like to try to get the pics right from the taking picture side).

Anyway, blabbering on here - thanks for your help.
