  1. Bottom line: You can use it in a commercial setting. No problem.

    Eeep.. Well I showed this post to our in-house software cop and he looked at the license and said "no, this license says no commercial use and it does not clearly define commercial use."!

    So I have to use paint .. pixel by pixel or find a program with a better license and expense it. That seems so wrong. :(

    If I can get a donation for the software, atleast $20US, could someone work on the license definition?

  2. From the general information on the website I am getting the 'legal standing' for this software is 'personal use only' with no commercial applications and no method to purchase a commercial copy, even by donation.

    Hopefully I am wrong and this isn't a waste of company time.

    Can I, at work, use paint.net to edit graphics for a paying customer?

    I do not want to sell paint.net, I do not want to sell a PC with paint.net installed, I do not want to sell a software CD with paint.net on it, I only want to edit commercial images with paint.net.
