    Sorry, I had to...

    As for your problem, two things:

    1) what version are you running (3.10, 3.20 Alpha 2...)? And;

    2) did you insert a period into your file name, for example: test.1? If you did then that is the problem; Paint.NET saved it as a .pdn but with the 'extension' of whatever what after the period as well - it saved it as two different file types which would, naturally, conflict. Does this make sense?

    I could be completely off with number 2), but it's worth a try. Also, isn't this more a Troubleshooting issue than a general discussion?

    I also used Search as I recall a similar problem arising only recently, however the circumstance was different in the only topic I could find. Have a gander anyway:

    earlier today i spent an hour making a banner on Paint.Net for another forum.when i was finished,i saved the banner and closed Paint.Net.then i came back on and tried to open the image but it wouldent open and this the message i got"there was an unspecified error while opening this file".can anyone help me?

    a few days a go i recieved a font on MSN messanger ist now in my documents.I followed the information given on the "ow to add new fonts turtoil" i cliked on i clicked on "send to" and then "compressed (zipped) folder" and i got this warning "for compressed (zipped)
