What do you think about adjustment buttons for the tolerance slide control in the toolbar? Perhaps + - or < >. It is a fiddly thing to set one specific value or de/increase the value by one step.

What software did you use to create the JPG files?

I used Windows XP and the integrated Copy-Pictures-From-Digicam-Assistant. The properties of this file with Vista shows the resolution und bit depth correctly, but I can't open the file even with the normal MS Paint.

Did the JPG open correclty with Paint.NET before being "tagged" with Vista?

The JPG opens correctly with Paint.NET before that.

It seems not to be a problem of Paint.NET at all, because other softwares can't open it too.

How can I fix the JPG? Has someone an idea?
