Shouldn't the "Erase Selection" function clear the contents of the selection but leave the selection in place (i.e. it should not "Deselect") ?
Right now there isn't an easy way to clear a selection other than using the eraser tool and manually erasing the whole thing, which can be a hassle with large areas.
Just seems counter-intuitive. I'd much rather have "Erase Selection" clear the contents and then leave it up to me to "Deselect" or not.
Or, am I missing something altogether?
Thanks,
Brian.
P.S. sorry if this has been answered already, I tried Search, but since you can't look for an exact phrase I couldn't find anything useful.
