lol sorry I usually just estimate the center of the image and it works.. but i'll add the dot to any others i do.. are you gonna make the tut or should i?

But you would need photoshop cuz I only know how to make ice using the 'plastic wrap' feature in photoshop..

usedHONDA, your tutorial has almost nothing to do with this effect. Try not plugging your own stuff when its not related.
Step #4 takes the brightness of the fill color(medium gray) and uses the color of the original image (this is the basic function of the luminosity blending mode). I found that lowering the contrast all the way gives you the same exact result (it helps having both programs...). I also tried just inverting the colored layer and I was able to get the same illusion effect. Good luck. If you don't mind i might recreate this tutorial in PDN.

Stare at the center and the black and white picture should turn to color. If not then u need to slow it down somehow, your on your own with that part
