Ok so im using the flooding tool. Say if i make a circle, with the circle tool, and use the floding tool to fill it in with black. Instead of just the circle colouring in, the whole image colours in (or the part of the image that is selected with the cutting tool.)

It also does the same with hte magic wand!

can someone please help me fix this problem
