My machine with Windows 11 The MS Store version does not install using Paint.exe. It is an installed DLL you may find at this address, with some variation! It is locked and needs permission to read. C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\dotPDNLLC.paint.net_5.13.8830.0_x64__h55e3w7q8jbva In Fastsone Image Viewer I cannot use the External App to load from an image. Too Bad! I use it all the time!
