Hi, I bought a new computer - i5 10600, RTX 3070, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 PRO, - and I have been experiencing weird issues with Paint.NET since then. When I start the software and the default screen appears, my monitor - GIGABYTE AORUS AD27QD - always goes to sleep mode. After pushing ENTER to get from the mode to common mode, it goes to sleep mode again. I just cannot use the software anymore.
I have a few questions:
- Have you ever experienced this?
- Could it be the software's issue or my monitor's issue?
- Could Paint.NET harm my monitor?
- Is it possible that a software could harm a hardware?
I would like to know your opinions.
EDIT: I found some error logs in Event Viewer
The program PaintDotNet.exe version 4.214.7601.39231 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.
