I don't know what you mean but such a "strong" function would be a great asset

In connection with a scale setting, distances could be clearly defined visually. I often have to bring pictures into PDF format and insert the measuring distances with Adobe, then convert them back into an image.

it is not a must but it would be of great help.

Thanks for your answer, I also know this plugin, unfortunately it is not what I meant ... as far as I know I cannot use the mouse to set a start or an end point. Maybe you could add that? I don't think the distance is displayed either, is it?

Hello dear people

I have a suggestion.
I like to use the transparent / multiplakation option at Paintnet.
There is also a tool called Measure Selection which I think is good but one that is missing an important part. For example, I would like to insert several dimension arrows or axes with spacing and unit into the image and save them, as with a CAD tool. For example, the units mm, cm, meters, and inches would be interesting

Maybe the Measure Selection tool can be expanded accordingly? It would be nice and nice if someone would tackle this idea. Thank you and stay safe.
