What you need to do is place the image you want to distort below your frame. In this example I used TR's Distort this! effect. You need to move the the little circles until it (more or less) fits in your frame.
I was also looking into how to place an image to an object and this really helped. Mine was a bit difficult as I wanted to fit the image on to a cubical layout but I managed to do it. Just a little more tweaking and it should be perfect. Anyway thanks for this tip and also thanks to the poster for sharing.
