 It is still doing the same thing when I try to select the pupil! When I select the pupil I have on Invert (the way the directions tell me to) but it still disappears.....I'm at my wits end

Ego Eram - I did what you told me and still I am having a problem.

It is still doing the same thing....It is not allowing me to select the pupil. Every time I try as soon as I let go of the button on the mouse my selection disapears.

I am trying to do the "Colored Eye" by JaffaCoder in distortions and Modifications but when I try to do the selection for the pupil my inner selection keeps disappearing  (?):   I am doing the first steps where to color the iris part without coloring the pupil the instructions say: Select the part of the eye you want to color, invert the selection, now select the pupil..."  after I select the pupil I let go of the mouse button and my selection disappears... I have done this technique before but never had this problem.

 

Any help on how to fix this problem is greatly appreciated 

[Custom Brushes not loading correctly]

I tried downloading some brushes into Simon Brown's Mini Custom Brushes and they did not load the right way : instead of having a lipstick shaped brush I get either a box with the lip print in it or I get a colored box...I put in two different screen captures so you can see what i am talking about.

 

DO you have to change the file type from ABR to PNG using ABR Veiwer? I downloaded ABR Veiwer   but I am not too sure if it is working correctly.

 

Plus I was wondering can you change the angle of the brush and direction?
