dawmail333
My idea is that a new layer blending mode could be added (similar but NOT the same as multiply), where this particular layer acts as an alpha mask, so you can just then merge it down to alpha mask without saving to save a mask file. Would this be feasible? (Pretty much like Multiply without showing black). My Peanut Gallery (Pictorium) | Coloured Ribbons
Mike Ryan
This has been requested over and over again. For now I recommend using Curtis's new and amazing Channel Mask as it allows for easier masking.
Simon Brown
One question: So this would be a blend mode that acts normally only it allows the user to import an alpha mask for the blending? I have no idea about the PDN codebase, but based on my OOP experience it wouldn't be feasible because the blend mode mechanics would have to be changed.
