v1buzzbomb
Hi im new to these forms and I was wondering if someone could write a skew plug-in like the one MS paint has.
Simon Brown
Not possible to resize images with a plugin. Although if you simply want to resize an image without using percentages then just use Image -> Resize and uncheck "Maintain aspect ratio". Simon Brown
I though he meant the 2D percent skew like in MS Paint.

Thanks for you help but thats not what I want to do. I want to shift the pixles in an image so it appers to lean by an angle put in by the user. For exsample: This is the image i started with This image had a 45 degree vertical skew applyed by MS paint And this one had a 45 degree horizontal skew applyed by MS paint This is what the window looks like: The red box is where the controles for skewing are. If you have MS paint try useing these to get an idea of what i mean. Rotate/zoom has a similar effect but the prospective projection throws it off. What about this? viewtopic.php?t=3107 Iv expermented with that and it's too hard to get a precise angle with that. Like say you want exactly 30 dergrees shift. I found it hard to get it remotly close. OK - I will attempt to create this. Thanks. I can't wait to see this in action on PDN.
Mike Ryan
I recommend creating your image on a New Layer and then going to Layers> Rotate and Zoom

pyrochild
I'm going to be blunt here, sabrown, and request that you please familiarize yourself with the plugins that are already available before you continue writing any more. As a plugin author, it is important that you know what is already out there to avoid either stepping on others' toes, or just to avoid wasting your time by doing what's already been done. pyrochild
Mike Ryan, Rotate/Zoom rotates. And zooms. It doesn't skew. Quite a different thing, really. Ash
Coughs*Rotate/ Zoom+*Coughs No, Rotate/zoom not as good for this task. Edit: what pyro said... Quote All creations Ash + Paint.NET [ Googlepage | deviantArt | Club PDN | PDN Fan ]
