Mike25
I'm new to using paint.net, and I get most of it, just how do yo reflect an image? I took this off another thread as an example: How do you reflect words like that? Btw I have version 3.22, so if it makes any difference between versions. Thanks. david.atwell
MadJik has a plugin in his effects pack that does that automagically. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... Mike25
Is there a way to do it with no plugins, just my 3.22 paint.net?
david.atwell
Sure, but why? It's so much easier with the plugin. But since you asked... 1. Type the text on a new layer. 2. Duplicate that layer. 3. Layers > Flip Vertical 4. Use the Gradient tool in Alpha Mode ( :AlphaChannel: ) and draw it across the flipped text. 5. Move the reflection to about two or three pixels beneath the original. :-) Or, if you have a plugin: 1. Type the text on a new layer. 2. Effects > Render > Water Reflection Hope this helps! Mike25
Sorry, another wierd question: What are plugins? Do they cost money?
david.atwell
Plugins are free. They're the extensibility part of Paint.NET, and they're available on this forum in the "Plugins" section. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...
