Followed it to the letter, uninstalled and tried the same thing again.

Even tried the latest driver from Wacom's site.

Only Mouse mode will work in PDN, not Pen mode....

Edit: wait...Cds?? There's more than 1 CD?

I'm not sure. I think there's a black one and a white one, but I'm not sure.

I assume you are running Vista ;)

I had a similar problem with my Genius tablet. The only solution was to uninstall the driverst hat came with the device and then plug it back in. Windows slapped on a generic tablet driver on it and now I get Paint.NET pressure sensitivity with a non-Wacom device. Hope that helps!

Yes, I'm using vista, Tried it your way, it works as the "mouse mode".

I can install the drivers again and just select mouse mode for it to work with PDN as I've mentioned before too.

No pressure sensitivity with PDN in mouse mode. I need the pen mode.

Gimp and PS have pressure sensitivity in either mode.

Thanks for trying :)

I only have 1 CD in the box.

Thanks.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I have a workaround....

Keep Windows Journal open in the background, PEN mode will work for all apps.

However, Still no pressure sensitivity for PDN. :?

FYI... I check every tutorial, I have to.

And FYI....you tut was on the borderline of being locked in the first place.

Sorry to intrude

I am using the same tablet and the pen works fine with PDN

As far as the pressure sensitivity and smudging I seem to have minor problems there as sometimes the plugin stops working

I did follow all the training and the setup cd there was only 1 :D

Sorry Ash, I don't really know all the rules, i will try to read the forum rules... and if you want, I could delete my previous post from your gallery. How was my tutorial on the border of being locked? I don't understand what I did wrong. Sorry again for intruding on your post page...I will try and post in the offtopic thread (if that is allowed). I would be happy if you could explain what I was doing wrong, and please don't get mad at me :(

I don't want to get on a moderator's bad side, especially you because you are truly awesome at making stuff on Paint.NET. I also don't want to get kicked from the Paint.NET forums cause it is the best forum ever!

The way you wrote your tutorial was great, lots of screenshots and all, but sadly the process and outcome were not something we need tutorials for. If you have some new ideas, post your results in the Pictorium asking if a tutorial is wanted, and if you get positive feedback from relatively good users, go ahead and write your tutorial. :)

I took a good look at the larger image. 'Burn'in down the house'. Nice work! Now you can build a camp fire or matches would be cool or you could burn down a whole house. Oh yes, and nice 2x4's.

Wow, you read my mind :)

While I was working on this, I was thinking this method can make camp fire and matches...

Yeah, my first thought was matches too! Like the wood, the flames and the way thet softly fade away, just one thing though, if I may dare...why the white background?

Ciao,

why the white background?

This was just testing/messing around to find new methods, not trying to make any scenery...

and.....plus the lazy Ash's laziness :P

I thought the end was XOR.

? :?: You mean the right side?Or the left?

In any case, no XOR was used in this image.
