With both of the "is this artist on your iPod" and "what music are you listening to" threads, there are a lot of bands being listed that I have never heard of. If you're as confused by my listings as I am of yours, this thread may help you.

Nice concept, there. I'll follow up:

Linkin Park (well, we need to start somewhere)

Faint

Bleed it Out [not the band's typical style, but I like it]

What I've Done [some of you heard enough of that song at the credits in Transformers]

A Place For My Head

In the End

To tell you the truth, those are pretty much the only songs I like from them >_>

Avenged Sevenfold

Afterlife [break-up song]

Almost Easy [getting-back-together song]

Critical Acclaim

Seize the Day [emotional music video]

Bat Country

Finger Eleven

Falling On

Paralyzer [yes, that song you hear on the radio all the time]

Thousand Mile Wish

Good Times [not very popular, but it sounds like it should be a hit]

One Thing [a song that everybody knows, even if you've never heard of F11]

Let's go for a band that doesn't use electric guitars:

Gorillaz

Feel Good Inc.

Dirty Harry

Dare

19/2000 (also called 19-2000)

El Mañana

Though to truly learn to appreciate Gorillaz, you should look up the meanings of their songs. Feel Good Inc. has an impressive amount of symbolism.

Yes... I noticed some discrepancies in my mental arithmetic... I've edited it now, so my maths appears to be better, which is always a handy appearance to uphold...

Let's Dance is good, but I just find that his Berlin Trilogy is so much better - it has the energy, passion and emotion that can only be found in a newly-rebuilt life. Not to mention the style - it's just phenomenal!

Dream Theater

The Dark Eternal Night

Another Day

Octavarium

Scene 6: Home

Scene 7: The Dance Of Eternity

Bela Fleck & The Flecktones

Next

Earth Jam (Live at the quick version not the one on Outbound)

Scratch & Sniff

The Sinister Minister

Zona Mona

Frank Zappa

This is a stupendously difficult task as he released 60+ albums & I have by no means heard all of them, however I shall do my best to give you 5 good Zappa tracks out of the many I could list

I'm The Slime

Cosmic Debris

Peaches En Regalia

Catholic Girls (Don't listen to this if you're catholic though, it may offend)

Uncle Remus

There are so many more Zappa tune I could pick but anyway.

That'll do for now I guess. PM me if there's anyone I've mentioned that intrigued you & I'll compile some sort of recommended tunes list :)

dA

Son, someday you will make a girl happy for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you & be with men that are ten times

better than you can imagine. These men are called musicians. :D

I never said you said that - I just said that I preferred Bowie's Berlin Trilogy to Let's Dance...

Yeah but you quoted me and you said instead of "Max Power" "MiguelPereira" in the quote header...

And there has to be a top 20 just for RHCP songs in my opinion :D They can't fit in a top 5 !

Oh right... So I did... Oops... I've updated the quote tags...
