I'm not sure I'm understanding what you mean...

Would you be able to post a screenshot of the before (how it's supposed to look) and after (when it gets blended together)?

What file format are you using, bender?

If you're saving as .gif, there is a loss of color information that could cause colors to "blend" together.

Also, if you're saving as a .jpg, you might have the compression setting too low. When saving, and the dialog pops up with the preview on the right, move the slider on the left to 100%.
