kaltblut
Hi, i have got a problem with an image I saved. I painted it and saved it. Closed the Programm and tried to reopen it. Didnt work and i cant open it with any other programm (i think thats not unusual). The Programm tells me that the File is corrupted or saved by an higher paint.net version (<- cant be), but i still can see the image in the Windowas explorer when i use the Thumbnails option. i uploaded the file right here. So maybe someone knows how to handle that. http://home.mnet-online.de/WissenderNacht/Dämonen herrschen.pdn sorry for my english . i would be very gald if anyone could help me. Thanks Kaltblut
BoltBait
It says "file not found". Can you zip the file and attach it directly to your message? kaltblut
The file is 480 kb. Its too big, also as zip file. I tried to upload it again. Maybe this works? http://home.mnet-online.de/WissenderNacht/Dmonen.zip I hope it works Its ziped, but just a little smaller than in normal mode. Thanks for your answer. Took me a long time to create that picture and I'm a little helpless.
BoltBait
I believe you are having trouble because you use the letter a with dots over it and a space in the file name. Can you change the file name to something simpler and upload again? BoltBait
Sorry, I can't figure this one out. Maybe Rick can open it with a debugger attached... ? Rick Brewster
The file was not saved properly -- it is truncated. In the debugger the error I see is, "ran out of data to decompress". Essentially, that PDN file is unusable and not recoverable.
