TexInWien
I've looked through help and the FAQ, but haven't found a way to do this. I work with .pdn files with multiple layers and would like to be able to Select All -> Copy All Layers for pasting elsewhere. Is this possible? If not, could it be added to the queue of things to do? Right now I have to save my .pdn as a .png, then copy then paste. Meanwhile, saving to .png causes the .pdn file to be "closed", which means I have to reopen it again if I need to continue working with it. Not great for workflow. Btw - thanks for a great tool. I use it daily. - Tex
david.atwell
You can flatten the image and copy it from there (I'm away from the computer with PdN on it, but it's in either the Image or the Layers menu), then hit Undo to un-flatten the canvas. I think that this functionality may be possible in the future, but it is not included as of yet. Good idea, though. :-) I'd also like to see a quick shortcut for flatten, duplicate, and undo flatten (essentially making a copy of the visible image and copying it onto a new layer). This is an undocumented function in Photoshop (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E). It would also help you in what you're needing to do. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... TexInWien
Good idea on the Flatten / Undo... Much better than my current workflow. Thanks for the tip!

guspaz
While it's nice that it can be done, this sounds like it would be trivial to implement so that it's just one command. Photoshop calls this "Copy Merged", I think, but I'm not certain.
Curmudgeon
Please don't say that something will be trivial as it gives the program's creators weird facial tics... I have no problem using the flatten, select all, copy, unflatten method that Rick posted. If it's trivial, then perhaps you could code it? just wondering...
