BTW is that your "cabin in the woods" or your home

That has been my home for 21 years.

If their was eight required your last pic should have been of your camera

The camera used for the first 6 pictures is located in the 7th picture.  (See if you can find it.) :D

Spoiler

I used my iPhone for all the pictures except the picture of my desk.  For that, I used my Lumix digital camera.

Hope you did well in the competition. Honorable mention?

It was just one of those challenges that shows up on FB all the time. I usually ignore them, but this one sounded fun. It was a nice break from all the political junk on my news feed.

<3 @BoltBait!

From the first picture the logo "intel" on my pc.
All pictures are very beautiful.
Cat and house are my favorites.
A diploma is hanging on the wall at her desk. May I ask what is this?
My last question what are your job? (Military...?)

That one is for my Master of Science in Database Administration.

I also have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

My current job is a Full Stack Developer for Intel.  (Full stack just means that I do everything from planning, to database design/implementation, to the UI (user interface).  I generally work in SQL, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, etc.

As for the military, I was in the USCG Reserves for 12 years.  I joined when I was 17.  I have a USCG "crossed anchor shield" tattoo on my left shoulder.

Excellent photography on those 7 black & white shots @BoltBait.  I think you could safely give up your day job and become a photographer

Hmmmm - if it were not for the sushi and the snow, I could happily live in that cabin ;) and I have no doubt you looked mighty handsome in the Coast Guard outfit :P

I see you hail from San Bernardino - I used to live in Victorville and we could have met up for coffee, if I'd known :D

Hey @BoltBait

Nope - can't find the camera. I see the flash though. :evillaugh:

Think of me of your Canadian counterpart.

Although I prefer Chinese to sushi

Apartment to a house.

Poker and cats are a big part of my life as well.

25 Years in the military (9 of them at sea) Traveled the world doing that stint. Allowed me to see Michael Jackson perform in Germany and San Diego.

But my history with computers is really my calling in life. Missed the boat getting official recognition for my abilities. In the late 70's just picture a sailor bringing his own computer (8088) onboard the ship to convince others it was the future. Paradox and Access were the database apps I remember taking to like a fish to water. 10 Years ahead of the times. Attended a computer science course at the Officers College in the 80's and topped the course demonstrating the ability to program in Basic. Could get no more support in training in that field.  Tried to keep up with all the changes best I could without being employed in the industry.

I hope your retirement sees you with a decent pension from Intel. I've heard of them once or twice. B)

Nope. I travelled by bus from Sacramento to San Bernadino just for the concert.

I am also a big fan of Chinese food.

I will be eligible to retire in 3 days. (Not that I would--I can't afford it unless I was to die in the next several months. :P )

You'll have to get your plugins onto the Store asap and hopefully people can supplement your retirement :D

I'm trying!

Seriously, I'm working with Rick and a team at Microsoft to design a solution for this.

Lovely photos @BoltBait.  We used to pass by Sacromento when going to ski at Donna Pass, but never actually stopped in the city.  Old buildings have so much character :D

Many very nice ones. I would say which one I like the best but there's more than one. I do love the winter and summer yard, a lot, too!

Now that looks very tranquil - perhaps it's @Woodsy's place 🤣

Not my place! But it does remind me of part of a ranch I went to a few years ago in Napa. Some really nice land up there!

What a great choice for a picture @BoltBait!
