Those clouds seem rather blurry to me.

That is an attempt at making them looking more fluffy.

barkbark00, a more natural looking sky can be made this way:

1) Start a new standard document, 800x600.

2) Select the following colors: Foreground: White, Background: 00A5FF.

3) Run the new Clouds plugin with default settings.

4) Click the menu Layers > Rotate/Zoom

5) Enter the following Fine Tune values:

- Angle: 0

- Twist Angle: -90

- Twist Radius: 75

- XPan:0

- YPan: -0.190

6) Change the Zoom slider to 1.53x (or enough for the bottom edge of the sky to go all the way across the screen).

7) Click OK

I have to say, I like both of them. Boltbait's cloud method would be create for some things, such as creating a realistic scenary, but barkbark's method would be better for some other things, such as a sky view or even a semi-cartoon type of picture. The original cloud plugin is also good for effects, as we've seen in other threads.

Nice, the only thing I don't like is the text in the first one... all squiggly :X Otherwise they're awesome.

Now, I made a little something with the bubble tutorial.

Only problem is, I don't really know a great method for making the water/ocean... any ideas are welcome.

@ Rick: I like! It's very cool the way the color fades out. It would look really cool if the car was in the middle of the pic and you faded to black and white all.

@barkbark00: I love those font styles! I actually like the top one more then the bottom. Good job.

I think I like the colors he chose rather than b/w.

Hellfire010 and entY8, those are very cool pictures.

Hellfire010, I think you captured the iPod very nicely. You only used the tools available in PDN, right? No cut and paste?

Your right, it is... but I think I'm going ot keep it that way for a bit. Among other reasons, I'm too lazy to change it at this point.

It reminds me of something on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network or something.

That's not a bad thing. Maybe a bit more antialiasing.

It's pretty unique. I especially like the background and the way you used gradients to color the characters. Simplicity at its best. :)

Lol, it's awesome. Only problem I find is the die... di? (sp?)... anyway, it's kind of choppy. Maybe some feathering?
