We all have a warped sense of humor thats why we make some of the art we do.

Oh so true my friend so true keep up the good work.

i thought these were kinda kool well i call this one simply,Dark

th_DARK.gif

and this one light

th_light.gif

First of all, the second one is dithered. Save as a .png file to keep transparency and color data.

Second, they could both use some blurring in some places (sharp light lines in the first one). Now, it is your job to find out how :).

Otherwise, it's very good, I tend to not like dents being used at default detail, roughness and turbulance. There's much different distorts to get with the same effect.

I am new to paint.NET so i know this isnt the most impressive work you will find but i am sort of proud of it :D i really want to learn about pdn so please reply! candyswirl.jpg

For a new user, that's actually not bad. Sure, it's not the best, but it's quite good!

ummm..i really like it but it is not symmetrical..idk if thats what you were going for but I think it would look a lot better if u made it all the same but i love the first one

symmetry without asymmetry is like day without night. yes it was totally intended.

The best way to get better, in my opinion, is to just keep on using Paint.NET. Read some tutorials to get ideas, create ideas of your own, and become gradually more familiar with it. Also, becoming an active member of this forum is a GREAT way to learn about Paint.NET.

Your images are pretty good for a new user. Just keep up the work, and you'll be doing amazing things in no time.
