MiguelPereira
I've done a tutorial on this but there was something about it I didn't like so I'm trying to remake it... tell me about it [The stock on my sig is a photo I took not a render from Splatter] [My deviantART][My Gallery][My Space]
cjmcguinness
Miguel, the only things I would suggest is after rendering the Light Rays and using Rotate/Zoom, try some 'Surface Blur' (part of the essential EdHarvey effects pack)to smooth the jagged edges of the rays, and some radial blur/anti-aliasing/feathering on the crystal sphere. Mr Frojo
Looks good. Nice and 3Dish. The clouds background seems a little bit plain though. I'm still alive!

Stephan
I picked up on my old Pulse Rifle. I changed the outline a bit, added more shadows and textures. Tell me what you think
Mr Frojo
The brushed metal effect looks good on the metal, but it looks like a little too much to have it on everything else. Maybe some faint clouds or something else would look good. I'm still alive!
cjmcguinness
My latest Work inspired by Changes... UNFINISHED Cool, JF. I like it. One small criticism, the inside-top edges of your letters could use some anti-aliasing/feathering.

Mr Frojo
Just imagine the planet and rings as a 3D object. If the light is shining from the right, the right side of the planet and rings would be lit up, with the left side in shadow. You have it going kinda opposite of that. I'm still alive! Ha, I just thought about it that way . The effect I wanted was the rings fading into the background, I guess I should have integrated that better. Also, thanks Ash for the link. *follows*

cjmcguinness
anyone know how i can remove that 'forza 2' watermark from the bottom left of my image? Use the 'Clone Stamp' tool. Press CTRL+A to select the whole image, then position the cursor over a section of the tarmac you wish to copy over the Forze sign. Hold the CTRL key and left-click. Now, move the cursor to where the Forza sign is and left-click to start cloning. The tool allows you to copy one section of the image to another place in the image, so you will paint (clone) another section of tarmac over the Forza sign, like below...
