barkbark00 3 Report post Posted May 29, 2007 @OMA: For the little dots, I would use Checkerboard grid and then Use Median blur setting R:10 and P:70. Ash, Those settings are directly dependent on your checkerboard/grid size. You may want to post that setting as well.

Ash 10 Report post Posted May 29, 2007 @OMA: For the little dots, I would use Checkerboard grid S:30 and then Use Median blur setting R:10 and P:70. Ash, Those settings are directly dependent on your checkerboard/grid size. You may want to post that setting as well. Thanks, you are right. Post edited But now the plugin is so much faster and easier
barkbark00 3 Report post Posted May 29, 2007 True, but, the Checker/Median Blur options gives you the cool "offset" output. The plugin doesn't without multiple passes. So, you are still dealing with 2 steps to get the "offset" dots...if that is what you are after.

chironex 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 Yeah...quantum phloam... What I did was I made the bars in the background with the "Dents" effect for the coolness. Then I made a cloud layer with transparent Xor blending for an abstract, surreal taste. Last, I "oil painted" it. I like the way it turned out. That would look nice on canvas... bincka 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 I took Ash's dragon and kept modifying it.... I am not sure if anything remains of the original? Anyways, working on a background and polishing it up. post later.
Ash 10 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 Nice job You will need to set the Tolerance higher when using magic wand to select the wing parts, this should get rid more of the white spots 8) Keep at it!

Jud@s 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 Colors are fine imo... and the reworked version gives it more deepness, meaning: it got a slight 3D effect to it now. Nice.
