oma Posted September 13, 2007 Share Posted September 13, 2007 this is not quite paintnet related but the art work here has inspired me to attempt old fashioned drawing this is the first portrait I've tried. and yes I know already the nose isn't correct. needs to be be more on an angle. same with eyeglasses and te left side of face needs to be trimmed back closer to the eye glass frame... just wanted to show you all what I've mastered in just a few months ... from stick people to real life edited picture out MR. What did you end up doing as last post you said you needed to work on them. Thank-You! I ended up scribbling in black the outline of the trees I wanted, in different sizes. Then I used the frosted glass effect on setting 2. Then I used oil painting on smallest brush size and maximum coarseness (actually had to repeat the oil painting twice or three times I think). The trees were on a separate layer than the background and the 'ground' they sit on. If I had seen Jezulkim's thread on starfields I would have used that! But maybe next time eh?
