Custom Brushes Plugin 5.1.5

Recommended Posts

There is nothing there.. and I do have some custom brushes..

You need to delete the "Custom Brushes" folder. The brushes work in a new way now - they are just png files.

Works for me.

Thanks. I am going to have to figure out how to use this properly. But it looks interesting.

Very cool idea, Need Canael & Reset button.

Selection window on the left so wide?

Possible to change color via color window? Like pyro's Splatter?

Edit: Is it possible to add "frequency" option? (How often the brush pattern being drawn when moving the mouse)

Thanks.

The UI doesn't work well with small canvas sizes.

Resize after finish drawing.

Yes, I agree with oma and Ash in that the spacing should not depend on how fast you're moving your mouse. (And yes, I know that that is a royal PITA when it comes to the code)

Also, it's not noticeable when using round brushes, but when using square brushes, everything is straight. Ideally, the rotation of the renders should be dependent on the direction of movement. This will provide a much smoother drawing with non-round brushes.

How do I sort that out?

You can probably look in the code for the pencil tool, the clone stamp, or the paintbrush tool to see how to do it.

And please, for the love of god, implement your config dialog properly. Via CreateConfigDialog(), instead of OnSetRenderInfo(). I am begging on bended knee.

Also, would the ability to use dlls for brushes be useful?

Not really. A DLL is overkill for something as simple as a brush, really.

A better idea would be the ability to use or import Photoshop or GIMP brushes.

What the hell:

I am getting similar results. None of my custom brushes are working, and even if I destroy their individual folders they are still not there.

When did this start?
